Well i got one of these as a christmas gift. told them if i didn't get it now i would buy one. so i got it friday. hunted saturday and finally got around to it about 830 this morning. it is an awesome machine. started with 222(40), then loaded 243(20), then 30-06 (20), and finally some 22-250(20). the 243 and 30-06 were loads to be tested. there was nothing to changeover, just press in the different numbers and hit enter. checked a bunch of loads randomly on my RCBS 5-0-5 and they were all right on. it was timed almost perfectly for me to fill the case with powder, put pan back on, hit enter, load the bullet into case, and put bullet in box. by this time the next load was trickling out. i don't know why i didn't buy one of these a while ago. the cleanup wasn't as bad as i thought. it is pretty easy to get into all the little places and it comes pretty much totally apart for easy access. got it under 5 minutes to clean it up and go to next powder. the worst part was the warm-up time. i already had the cases primed and ready to go though, so i didn't have much to do. when i have to go through all the steps, it won't be a problem. I would have to give it an A rating.

I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

keep it plugged in to a power strip with the surge protector, that's what I do with my Pact. No warmup time[:D]

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

MY FIRST DPS 1200 LASTED ABOUT 6 MONTHS, I SENT IT BACK BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT HOLD A 'ZERO'. GOT A DPS II AND IT WOULDN'T WORK WHEN I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX. SCALE WOULD NOT HOLD A ZERO AND THE POWDER DISPENSER WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL. CALLED LYMAN AND FOLLOWED THEIR SUGGESTIONS, (TEMPERATURE, FLOURESCENT LIGHTS, ETC.) NOTHING HELPED. ALL THEY COULD SAY WAS "SEND IT BACK". I DID. MY RCBS 1010 WORKS JUST FINE.

    My Lyman 1200 works fantastic!
For years I measured every load by hand, now it is hit the button Whirr, Whirr and presto measured and ready to dump and accurate as can be, I was suspicious at first so I checked it against my balance beam scale over and over but it is as accurate as can be. By the way mine is not affected by the overhead flourescent lights in any way, extreme cold (under 30 degrees) makes it act funny until it warms up but then it is fine. ( I have an un-heated detached shop that houses my reloading bench/setup).
