While saving up brass to reload one day I have nailed many crows and a couple coyotes with the 85 gr Win Supreme BTs, today I took my first deer with the 115gr Bt's, young 140-60lb buck slow walking with his head down,I held on the base of his neck, but entry was high in shoulder, bamb flop! entry and exit 2 broke ribs in and out, 182 paces or yards, everything up top but heart was jello. Ive always been a mod 70 30-06 165 gr man but like the way this 70 coyote lite looked ,felt and shot. I was gonna try the 110 gr accubond loads but were unable to pick any up locally...very best

Cattle buyer, if your looking for more fun than your probably allowed, check out the 115 Berger VLD in your rifle. I use them in a 25/284 and they will boggle the mind.......

Is that factory stuff your using?

I still haven't gotten out to try my 120gr speer load yet. With the storm due in here I may not get out there tomorrow either. If not tomorrow, I'll have to wait til next weekend.[:(!]

I wish it was still deer season up here. With this storm moving in, they would be up, moving and filling their bellies.

Looks like I found a few wssm friendly folks here. I also wonder what happened to the wssm zone.
I am in my 2nd deer season with my 25 wssm. Havn't found a reason to switch from my 117gr. sierra gamekings yet.
I dropped 2 does in their tracks during the first part of the season and have one tag left for the Jan. doe season.

Opieone, I remember you from the wssmzone. Welcome aboard! I was going to get the gamekings but got such a deal on the Speer that I couldn't resist. I use the 55gr gameking HPBT in my 22-250.

I was supposed to go to the range today to try out a few loads for thw 25, but the weather is just not cooperating. Wind...rain....now thunder and lightning....snow later....ya gotta love it. I'll get there eventually.

    Merry Christmas, Guys!
