You might want to bury a couple also.

They've been out for a while now.

I just ordered some .224's from Midway. They should have the .204's soon.

I was excited about the new bullet too...But in my .223 they just were not worth the effort. I loaded 400 rounds and used about 8-9 test loads....Ran velocities from about 2500fps to 3600+. I got some pretty nice groups (best groups were with R-7 and H-335)at 100 but accuracy fell off dramatically at 200 yards+. Shooting prairie dogs was very disappointing. Often they crawled back into their holes after a solid hit. Unlike my standard dog load with the 50gr Hornady V-max...there was never a distinct "POP" when the Grenades found their mark. As for the "no ricochet" claim...Don't bet on it. I shot gallon plastic jugs of water at 100 yards (much larger than any p-dog) and always had a fragment penetrated the jug and a 1/2" plywood backer. Not much but still a ricochet...Perhaps the bullet is better suited for the 22-250 at higher velocities..

I was interested in trying too but it sounds like they don't blow up real well. Did the fragment go all the way through the 1/2 of plywood? I have shot a 1 gallon water bottle with 1/2 inch wood behind...bullet velocity was about 3600 fps...but I was closer about 50 yards and the bullet fragments did not go through the 1/2 piece of wood, a couple of the pieces went into the wood but not through it.
