Lyman powder scale

Hey guys;
Once in a while I think when a manufacturer goes the extra mile, perhaps we should give credit.
Several years ago I bought a Lyman 1200, digital powder scale. My brother, son and I load a LOT of centerfire rifle loads every year for our prairie dog and varmit shooting and really needed that machines ability, speed and accuracy.
We have at current, actual count something a little over 10,000 rounds of 223, 22-250, 257 roberts and 222 rem mag ammo loaded and ready for this summer. All of them have been over this machine.
Just recently it began to have some serious, issues and we decided to send it back to Lyman to seee what it would cost to have it rebuilt as opposed to a new one.
We did not know what to expect and really had no idea the outcome.
About three weeks after sending it back we received our machine and it had been completely rebuilt, new motor, power chord, manual of instructions stc. and it is just like new in its' calculations and dispensing. Something you might like to know ( I do not work or shill for Lyman) my brother is a BR shooter and measures his 5 rnd groups in micro particles. This machine will drop exactly what he has dialed into it for his 6PPC BR gun. He always double checks it anyway, which drives me crazy but it is always right on the grain in weight. Which for the accuracy we want for prairie dogs is done without a hitch and very quickly at that.
To say the least I was more than a little surprised as I expected to at the very least have to pay for parts.[^]
Nada, they did not ask for a dime and as I said their service was very timely as well.[:D]
Just thought some good newws for once and kudos to Lyman at least as far as we are concerned.
