12 gauge load for the porch

Can someone recomend a good load for shooting trap beyond the 27 yard line? I can make it back to the shoot-off line, but once I'm there I can't break em anymore.

get more powder behind the load, use a 3'' magnum, and modified choke with 7 1/2 shot
    Keep shooting

Well this will throw them all in a tizzy. What you need to do is use the same shells you are loading now but put LESS powder in them.
Slowing down the shot column is the same as going to a tighter choke but doesn't deform any more of the shot. For your part, you will have to learn to "lead" the target more and shoot "over" it. PRACTICE!
