Where the hell is camp Perry?

I have read about this place in every magazine and no one states where it is. I am wondering if it really exist.

Ohio. I was employed as a Correctional Officer in Ohio and had the grand pleasure of working the "pits" at several of the sanctioned shooting events at this most wonderful camp. I learned a great deal by raising, lowering, marking and changing the targets. I also had the honor of participating in shooting the range with M1 Garands in an "open" class....an experience that I shall never forget. Georgia has the "Masters" and Ohio has "Camp Perry".

Hello PORT CLINTON Ohio was a WW II prisoner of war camp . it has been used as the site of the N.R.A national championships for many years as well as CMP/DCM site for their matches . Great place to shoot and visit some of the best shooters in the world. The housing "THE HUTS" are not a ***** hotel. It is also a base for the OHIO NATIONAL GUARD . I shot there 1972-2005 "PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN" Karl AKA PERRY SHOOTER

It is about 20 minutes away from our summer cottage, located in Port Clinton Ohio.... a locale that in the winter is as cold and bleak as Alaska, and in the summer takes second place to nowhere (including the Amazon rain forest) for heat and humidity. -20 in the winter at night and 105 in the summer with about 98% humidity were the extremes I recall...... and I swear that was last summer at the national matches. Almost died of heatstroke! [:D]
