Powder Baffle

Do most of you use a powder baffle on a progressive press for more even metering or does it not matter that much. Or do you try and keep the powder over half full. I'll be using a Hornady powder measure. Do you make them yourself or do they sell them.

Some measures come from the factory with a baffle in them. I would think if the factory thought their's needed one , they would put it in.

If you load small amounts of fast burning pistol powder YOU NEED A BAFFLE. With out the baffle you charges will vary outside a acceptable range. Why would you ever remove one [?] You will be asking for trouble just like removing the primer follower rod.
