kimber rifle

joesjoes Member Posts: 484 ✭✭✭
I saved up my money and bought a kimber 243 longmaster classic ( and got in alot of trouble for spending so much!). For the money I thought I would be getting a tack driver. Well now on my fourth load I am still looking for something even close to 1" moa.
I have tried IMR 4064 and IMR 4895. Has anyone else had experience with a kimber which is hard pressed to shoot 1" MOA? thanks, Joe.

I haven't owned a Kimber, but I have built loads for a .243 and IMR 4350 was the best solution. Doesn't mean it will be best for your Kimber. You will also have to test the other components and the seating depth individually to see what your rifle 'likes', typically by varying one at a time. It's all part of the fun of reloading (no sarcasm intended)!

Love the 4350 for speed but 3031 for accuracy with my ruger 243.

Try a Nolser bullet in 6mm. That maybe what you need.
    Good luck.
