Confused about Universal Clays

breakerdanbreakerdan Member Posts: 364 ✭✭✭
I have a can of powder marked Universal with Clays below it.
Do I use load data for Clays or Universal? I know they are two
different powders but which is which?

There is Clays and Universal Clays. The Data for Universal is correct for Universal Clays. I always thought they should have gone with a different name when they came out with Universal.

Don't be, one says Clays ONLY the other universal clays

I agree with BHAVIN Hodgdon could have done a better job of distinguishing between the two

Are you shooting shotgun or pistol? The two are not interchangeable in pistol cartridges.
