how can you find out if your bullet is out of line to the case or bore?

    Depends on how precise you want to get.
    You can roll the loaded round across a piece of glass and watch to see how much "tip wobble" there is
    You can mount the case in a test stand and measure the bullet runout with a dial indicator

    In either method, the actual runout (off center) is 1/2 of the measurment (TIR)

    There is a Piece of equipment That SPINS the cartridge with a dial indicator to give you a reading on the amount >WOBBLE< "run-out I think one maker is SINCLAIR

    Sinclair and several other Manufacturers make a run out gauge and adjustment tool.

    RCBS Casemaster. Comes with the dial indicator.
