I recently acquired a used Littleton shotmaker, sans manual. I was able to download a manual from their webside. Has anyone had any experience and/or tips in using this machine. Shot prices are killing me for reloading purposes. Also does anyone have any idea where to look for a bulk (1#-5#)container of powdered graphite
    Thanks, olivegreen-- Texas

Classic095 uses a littleton, Cheap source of shot doesn't exist an it is becoming harder and harder to get Wheel weights as the enviros are forcing lead free (zinc) Wheel wieghts on us. The EPA continues to enact more and more restrictions on the purchase and collection of new/used lead.

Although the price of lead has dropped nearly a $1 a pound, from a high of almost $2 a lb this time last yr. It will take another 6-8 months before we see the price's come down if at all. now that we have been paying $50-60 a bag I doubt it will drop much below $35-40. The market has shown we will pay at least that much and some will pay the $50-60 that we have today.

Delta Trap here in Colorado is still selling 25lb bags for $40, but have said the next semi trailer full will be priced at $50-55. Sportmans Warehouse in GJ Colorado has the same 25lb bag for $55

Good luck, if you haven't already bought a littleton then check out the Bettershot maker

His IMO is much better than the littleton and costs about the same dollar for dollar
