Well, I screwed up. Got some Hodgdon 4831 to reload 30-06 for the first time. I bought 168 gr BTSP bullets and now can't find data to support the load. Hodgdon's website has some loads but not with this bullet. So I have two questions.
1. Does anyone have a pet load using these components?
2. Is IMR4831 the same as H4831? I have data for the IMR but...

In any case their data for a 175 gr bullet is: 175 GR. SIE HPBT IMR IMR 4831 .308" 3.300" 54.0 2615 48,100 PSI 57.5C 2781 56,900 PSI
175 GR. SIE HPBT Hodgdon H4831 .308" 3.300" 57.0 2535 38,300 CUP 61.5C 2719 44,400 CUP
This would be safe to use as it is for a HEAVIER bullet than you plan on using.
You might even be able to bump up your loads a half grain.
Something to think about here and that is, "What rifle are you reloading for?" Either H4831 or IMR 4831 is too slow for a gas semi-auto. You will get too much pressure at the gas port and may damage your rifle. They both work great though, for bolt type rifles. I wonder if the Hodgdon website doesn't have either 4831 for 168's because of that.
Anyhow, you can take the next bullet weight of 175 gr. and start with the starting load there and work up. 57. gr. of H4831 or 54 gr. of IMR4831.
And I understand the concept of loading manuals. I have 3 and they just don't have this PARTICULAR combination. i was hoping to simply borrow on the experience of others. But if the moderators are going to post such helpfull comments perhaps I should refrain from doing so?

do a search on Burn rate charts. Then you can learn to interpolate the data from a faster powder and a slower powder, and figure out the correct charge range. That is how I do it.
maybe next time tell us you have load manuals, and which ones, then we can save time by not looking in those manuals. I figured you didn't have one at all. My bad
