Glock w/.22 conversion for bullseye?

Goos afternoon, I was wondering if I could use a Glock w/.22 conversion in bullseye competition? If not, why? I'm looking at the Ruger Mark II/III if I can't use the Glock. Bass pro has all of their firearms 25% off until the 20th.

    I am sure you could, there are limits only to caliber not make or model of gun [;)] as far as i know

    Yes you can use the conversion for bullseye. The trigger pull needs to be 2 lbs. or less (the Glock should be much higher then that). While not the optimum gun, you can start with just about any .22 including a revolver.

    I believe you'll find that the Ruger is much more accurate, but if you are just starting the experience is more important then the type gun.

    It is looking more and more like the Ruger Mark III. It is about the same amount of money, so why not get a new gun?

    sounds like a plan, it wont look like a MkII - III for long

    you will want to set aside another $100-200 for the mods that you see in the picture about. Trigger/scope mount/sight. I believe the MKIII's come with a rail and rings already that will save you 35-40 bucks

    any dot sight will do, ultra dot and Gilmore dot's are said to be some of the best. you will find out real fast that it is a lot more fun with a dot sight vs open sights. the factory sights that come on a ruger are not as good as they need to be to shoot 800+ consistently

    Hello Green Mile .IMHO while the 22 conversion will be legal & you can USE it for bullseye it will not be able to shoot the group sizes you need SUB 3 inch at 50 yards The Ruger or Browning Buckmark will both shoot much smaller groups The Kart Day & MARVAL are the only conversion units that are have match grade units for the 1911 all other conversion units are plinking grade. . Just my $.02

    Hello I know the RUGER has a big following and they do shoot very well . However I think the BUCKMARK is a better choice. #1 and this nobody will dispute it is easier to clean and straight blowback semi auto 22's do get grit dirty. #2 the Buckmark has a grip angle more like a 1911 so you will have the same grip to develop muscle memory when you start shooting the 1911 in the 45 stage and maybe even the center fire stage matches if you shoot NRA bulls-eye# 3 the correct model of buckmark comes with a trigger overtravel screw . It also comes with built in Red Dot mounts so you can shoot IRON SIGHTS or RED DOT . Cheers Karl

    Hello BADHABITHOBBY Wow thanks for your post. I went to the site you suggested and YES it did say WINCHESTER and ALSO NRA. However I came away from this site very confused I hope others will chime in on what they found in this site. I have been shooting NRA BULLS-EYE since 1964 including 32 Trips to Camp Perry and for the life of me I have NEVER seen the BULLS-EYE program or scoring system depicted on the site in your post The targets are correct however It must be a JR. program . WE mainly shoot 2700 matches and classes are Marksman ,Sharpshooter, Expert, Master & High Master What the H##L is pro marksman ETC. [:(] I then went to NRA live and looked AT THIS YEARS nation championships THAT FINISHED JULY 12. It had the scores from the classes of shooters I have shot under for the last 40+ years . What am I missing here or am I just having a senior moment [:(][?][:o)][:I][:0]
