Experience with Hodgdon Titegroup?

Do any of you have experience utilizing Titegroup in your autoloader? In particular, in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 type loads. Is so, does does it work for you? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance?

Thanks Reloader44mag. How would you rate its accuracy, recoil, and muzzle flash?

Clean burning, moderate recoil depending on caliber and load, and no real noticable flash for me. I have used Titegroup in 9mm all the way up to 500S&W. I don't really worry about muzzle flash. economical powder to use, and accuracy groups seem above average for me, compared to Unique and WW231. Try it you will like it[;)]

I use Titegroup in many pistold calibers and am switching to it for more calibers as I use up older powder.

I load .380, 9mm, 40 S&W, 10mm, .41 mag, .44 mag, 45 ACP and 45 Colt. It is a great powder for plinking and isn;t menat for hot or performance loads. Being as it is not position sensitive it works well in large cases.

I have excellent accuracy with a very low standard deviation through the Chrony. Felt recoil is pretty light and muzzle flash is minimal. It usually costs (at least in my area) about $2.00-$5.00 less per pound than other powders. I like being able to have one powder that will load for most pistol cartridges. It saves a bunch of room.

I just started using it. I had been using Unique for most of my pistol stuff but I needed to work up a good subsonic 9mm load for my suppressor. I had some W231 I got on sale one time and had not used it yet.

I tired some loads with the W231 and while they ran good it was very very dirty. After reading around a bit found out to NOT use it with suppressors as it is hard on the baffles for some reason.

I used 115, 124, and 147 gr bullets, Blue Dot, Unique, W231, Tight Group, and something else (cant remember now). My quietest load was with 147gr bullets and almost 7gr of Blue Dot. I ended up going with 115gr bullets and 3.5gr of Tight Group as my final load. I have tons of 115gr bullets on hand and the TG uses about half the powder. This load was nearly as quiet as the 147/Blue Dot.

I have not done tons of testing with this load yet but I am using it with in a Suppressed 16" 9mm AR. The gun stays as clean as it is going to with this powder. I have not shot it for accuracy past 50 yards but was able to make cloverleaves with it.
