Lee loader...what model ???

E.J.W.E.J.W. Member Posts: 6 ✭✭
I picked up a Lee progressive loader in a "package"deal at a garage sale. I'm not famliar with the Lee products so I need some assistance identifying it so i can post an accurate add on Gun Broker.com.
It has a stationary block at the top in which the three dies screw into. There is an Auto Disk powder measure on it and four long tubes with a funnel at the top (casings go in these tubes I think)
There is a auto primer feed on it also. When you work the handle the disc where the casings are held rotates with each stroke.
If a picture will help send me a PM and I'll send one back.
thanks.
Eric.

Either a Lee Pro 1000 or Lee Loadmaster.

www.leeprecision.com has pics and descriptions of both.

Sounds like the Lee Pro-1000 with the case feeder. The Pro-1000 has three die stations, The Load master has five. Sorry the Classic has four.

    Thanks for the link jonk.
I looked at the site, the base or majority of the press looks like the Turret press. The Pro 1000 and Load Master look way different.
What I don't see on the turret press is the round rotating disc that holds three casings (one under each station)at a time by their rim. The Turret looks to only have room for one case at a time.
Would either of you mind taking a look at the photo's I have?
    Thanks
    Eric.

Loadmaster has 5 stations, not 4.

You have the Lee Pro-1000. They are a decent press, I used one for a while. The only complaint I had was it didn't taper crimp pistol ammo.

Thanks dcs for sharing your knowledge on this press.
I have a bunch of stuff to go with it like three die sets for 357, 40s&w & 380, a 10 pk of 380/9mm ammo boxes, the 4 tall case feed tubes and funnel, extra turrets and multiple discs for the powder measure.
We'll see if it sells on the auction site.

    Thanks again.
