I have an old custom rifle chambered for 270 Winchester Ackley Improved. When looking around I find that there is also a 270 Ackley Magnum.
Can anyone give me some help determining the difference between these two supposedly different cartridges?
I still shoot the 270 Win AI (still works fine) but have gotten the bug to build a new rifle and don't have enough info to pick the chambering.
