    I do, in a 26" heavy barrel- Mine will shot .3 in groups on a good day and almost never over 3/4 in. I use IMR 4064 35.5 grains of powder and 55 grain sierra and nosler brass. Not very hot but shots well! I do not have a savage that shots 1" ( and I have 5 of them -model 12's and 112's, right out of the box. In my opinion Savage and Tikka's are the most accurate off the shelf gun's made today.- Sorry guys do not mean to start a gun manufactor war.

    I have a model 12 fvss in 22/250 and it will shoot .2's with 36.0 grs of varget ( max load) under a 50gr nosler ballistic tip with an oal of 2.47 [:D]

    I have a 12fv in 22-250, junked the cheap factory synthetic and laid it to reast in a Bell&Carlson Carba-lite Varmint and it balances perfect now. Sadly I have had very little time to work up any loads for it other than a few start loads with 55gr Bergers, 50 & 55gr Midway Dogtowns, and some 50, 55, and 60gr V-Max. But for some start loads I see a perfect load coming from the Bergers and the rest are all sub .5in potential. Though I haven't had a lot of time to load for it I have shot it quite a lot, been burning through Winchester White Box 40rd boxes of 45gr JHP. For factory ammo have not had a 100yd group over .5in and 200yd groups from .75 to 1.2in. Heck, I have even taken a hen turkey at 398yds with a 100yd zero and only about 15in of holdover.
