Odd bullets.

NwcidNwcid Member Posts: 10,674
What do you guys do with your odd ball lots of bullets? I have about 10 groups of odd bullets now. Say 10 of these or 15 or another that came from pulled bullets or boxes you tried and found a better one.

I know it is not a lot but I bet I have 150 or so of these kind of bullets with the most in any group about 20-30.

Just sort them out by weight, pick some loads and go plinking at tin cans.

Another idea is to have a give away. Somebody can add your to theirs to have a bigger pile. [:D]

Every now and then I'll take my 'odd lots' and load up some rounds for a rattle battle type course- where speed is more important than exact accuracy. Whether formal or informal.

I use mine as foulers. That prevents me from ending up with odd numbers of the "good" bullets!

I keep odd bullets, cases with one more firing before they get tossed, and final ounces of powder for just this use. I load to Start levels for safety, and when I need a round or two after cleaning, these are the rounds I use. I toss the brass afterwards.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

I use mine for forming cases, especially the overweight ones.

They sit in boxes at the bottom of the stacks of my bullets waiting for me to experiment with them in another cartridge or different powder in the cartridge I was using.

Sell them. There are lots of people that want to experiment to find "their" load but don't use to many different bullets for the same reason you have extras now not to mention the cost. Many would be happy not to have to buy a full box to see if they work or not. I know there are some bullets I have not tried for that very reason.

I have thought about doing a give away on a few of them but selling and shipping 10 bullets does not seem like a worth while effort if you know what I mean.
