I am looking for load data for .270 win with hornady 130 grain SST bullets, preferably using H4895 or IMR4064, I know neither powder are the "ideals" but thats what I have
thanks
Corey

I always load my .270 with 4831 so can't offer a specific recommendation for your powders except for the standard that should always apply anyway; check several manuals, start low and work up slow. Over the years I've run into several instances where a load that was well under max in one rifle nearly took the shingles off roof in another. Hasn't happened often, but often enough to keep me honest and humble.

thanks to all that replied now if I can figure out OAL I will give it a shot, might have to go buy some new powder though, oh well, just gives me more options...
I think I just put a new monkey on my back if you ask me.

57 gr of H4831 - it was good enough for Jack O'

58gr H4831sc will be quite pleasing with a 130gr pill and CCI primer
