Powder Valley has wolf primers in stock I saw small rifle and large rifle mag primers on the list. I don't use them but some of you guys might.

Anyone use them? Just looking for primers for plinking ammo. I think I've read where a few people liked them but can't find it now. Anyone have any issues with them? Just thought I'd ask before getting some large pistol primers. The price is right on them. Thanks.

    flyingtorpedo,

Wolf is the distributor not the manufacturer. They are packaged with Wolf labeling.

I've done some testing with them and found that the cup is just a tiny bit tougher than the Federal cups. The consistency was really good which is why so many accuracy shooters are using the product. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for some of my shooting needs but I don't switch components until I have a major test to make on a new lot number of powder.

    Wolf (Russian) Primers

Bryan said Powder Valley is expected to receive Wolf Primers in the first week of June, 2007. Many top shooters such as David Tubb believe these primers give great accuracy and low ES. These new Wolf Primers are from the same Russian manufacturer as the "Russians" formerly sold by PMC.

    Best.

I have seen some of my lowest ever velocity and sd spreads while using the Russian primers,
never ever had a problem of any kind.
The rifles that use other primers now will be checked out with these before I would buy the ones they use again...... they are that good......
