hornady 3.1 apex

did some trading at a gun show yesterday and ended up with this Hornaday apex 3.1 in 28ga anyone had any experience with one? it doesn't want to cycle/rotate on each pull. after reading the manual I have pretty much figured out the unit has sone type of aftermarket indexer, which won't extend fully to cycle the turntable, if i manually push it the last inch it works fine. are parts available, are they any good?, or should I just resell it and get something newer, I only plan on reloading few hundred a year so I don't need anything fancy, sorry for the discription I don't know the technical wording.

    some sort of aftermarket indexer will limit any internet trouble shooting. See if you have a friend that repairs Office equipment "Copiers ,Printers ETC or main frame computer repair guys that work on Printers ETC .I used to do both for 32 years and I trouble shoot a lot of mechanical Equipment for my friends I also mentor the set up and use of Progressive reloading presses but never seen a Hornady 3.1
