32-20 Loads

I have my Grandfathers 32-20 rifle and a lot of empty brass. I would like to reload using IMR 4831 powder but I have not found any books with data for that powder. Does anyone out there know of any data for this load? I know there is a lot of options with other powder but I like the 4831 in all my other rifles. I would appreciate any help. I can be directly emailed at bjl722001@yahoo.com. Thanks. Chris.

That case isn't really big enough for a powder as slow as 4831. You're really better off using pistol/small rifle powders such as AA 5 and 7, 4227, 4198, 2015, Win 296, VV120. Speeds of powder you would much more likely see in the .22 Hornet and .218 Bee.
Using a 100 gr. Speer you might try 11 gr. of 4227 and work up. Max runs around 14 gr. The same would be true of IMR 4198 as well.
