Powder for 380/9mm

I am just starting to reload these and I need a powder that will work for both. I would like a clean burning one. Anyone have some info?

Welcome to the forum. I use both unique and 231. They work great.

Hodgdon Titegroup. Meters better than Unique and is cleaner burning.

Myself I like Bullseye. It has to be the cleanest of them all. Use less powder, measures great and packs a punch.

Winchester 231 is a great powder. I have used it in 9mm, .40, and .45acp.

I second that. It's all I use, and it work for everything I shoot.

I agree with this too. It flows good through my powder measure, doesn't take much, and the best part, I got 6# for $60 last year at the machine gun shoot.

In general, the Alliant powders aren't the cleanest burning.

Alliant powders burn cleaner in higher pressure loads.

+1 on Bullseye and + 1 on cleaner on higher pressure loads. I still think it is the best for pistols as to cost and group size if you are into target shooting.
