I was just wondering about the difference between 45-70 government,and 45-70 and if they are both safe to shoot in a Springfield model 1884. Thanks

Hi how much different is the 45-70 government cartridge from the danish remington rolling block cartridge? 11.43 mil or something like that, and shooting 45-70 will it affect accuracy? many thanks joe

Same ctg, same load. Both should be okay to use in a trapdoor Springfield if they are FACTORY loadings. (pressures are under 25K)
