Are there shill bidders on GB?

In the Reloading section I have lately lost a number of bids to NR or +5 or less bidders. Is there anyway to tell the difference between a newby and a seller who wants to jack up the price? When I've looked at the history of these new bidders, they've only won $10.00 auctions and they're now bidding strong on $100+ auctions. Can the seller, if he wins his own auction, cancel his own sale so he doesn't own GB money? I've only been buying stuff on GB for 5 months now and am new to the whole on-line auction thing.[8]

What does this have to do with competition shooting and reloading? Read the forum guidelines at the top of the page. It would be very tough for a dealer to be a shill bidder on his on auctions, obviously a friend could do it, but if the shill won, the dealer would have to pay the auction fees. If you don't win, just assume someone else wanted it more than you did.

I'm suspicious of bidders who drop out at 30% of market prices.
