IMHO no the other three run at much higher pressure. I have seen many 9MM and 40 that were fired in glocks that looked like a pot belly pig on the area of the feed ramp I would inspect any 40 before loading no matter what gun it was fired in this is a HIGH PRESSURE round. Your mileage may vary.

I've had 44 mag crack after 10-15 reloadings, same with 357.I also have cases reloaded twice that many times.

The 44 does have good life and if you lightly anneal the case mouth after four or five firings it will greatly reduce the development of mouth cracks; extending life even further.

The other two are just as PERRYSHOOTER says.

I reload all four rounds mentioned in the first post. I reload 44mag max loads always. I have cases that have 10-20 reloads through them, the key is to not over "bell" the case during prep. Lots of people have this fear of the 40S&W round...I have reloaded 1000's at middle of the road loads and have never had any kind of case failure. just my 2 cents.

Not to beat a dead horse and the other posters gave you good advice about the necks on the 44 Mag.+ about moderate loads on the other 2. just remember when a case splits you get a little smoke and flame nothing too bad because the cylinder fully encloses the cartridge case. However if the semi auto cases let go it will most likely be in front of the case head "web area" over the feed ramp of the frame /barrel this can lead to blowing the grips off the magazine out and on some occasions setting of round or rounds in the magazine. [:0][:I] mild loads OK hot loads[:0][:I] just be aware most reloaders want to soup up their loads to +P+ spec's

l can see loading your rds to +p+ specs for your defensive rounds. but why would you for your practice? id load 50-100 to +p+ but the rest might even be a mild load.

perryshooter-I had a .40 Glock but hated it so I sold it and now have a SA XD-40 as a replacement. I saved a lot of the brass shot from the Glock in addition to the brass from the XD. Is it acceptable to reload the Glock brass or would it be wise to throw it out. I read about how the Glock doesn't fully surround the cartridge at the base so I would think it would be fairly easy to pick out any possibly damaged brass. I definitely do not want to damage my hand, gun, or eyes!

for me it's timing and accuracy i practice with as close to a carry round as possible, once you shoot with a actual timer you'll see it in a whole new light, i never use +p or +p+ 2 rounds a inch apart in 16/100th of a second at 10 yards right where i want them works for me

and yes over bell will ruin case life
