i was just on wideners.com and saw that they have 30cal 240gr hpbt match bullets. i know that in long rang shooting its generally excepted that they heavier the bullet is for a particular caliber the better. but does anyone shoot these??? id imagin that the ballistics of this would be awesome but i can only imagin the recoil from pushing that heavy of a bullet to 2600+ fps.

These heavy, long bullets are better in the 30-378 and other big powder burners shooting 1,000 yards or to the moon and further.
I us the SMK 240's in my .300 Whisper. I have a 1:8 twist but I am only pushing them at 1050 fps. Very quiet with the suppressor [:p]
Uh...YEAH!![:p][:p][:p][:D] We can't hardly EVER get those approved here in MN.[}:)]
The Fn/FAL uses a one in eleven twist for the 147 grain bullet.
