Cleaning brass?

In a previous post, I read that brasso will make cases brittle. What do you guys use to remove tarnish spots that will not come out in the tumbler? I have been using Never Dull. Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Am I making junk out of my cases?

I use some 000 steel wool.

I spin them in a drill while holding one of those green rough-up scrubbers for doing dishes,..they realy work.

With my target/range ammo after it goes thru the walnut and then corn cob media I'm not concerned with the apperance of the brass so long as the case is sound and it feeds in my pistol.

I place very dirty/tarnished brass, deprimed but not sized, in Iosso case cleaner for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse and dry (spread onto a baking pan and place in oven heated to about 175 degrees for around 30 minutes. Tumble in fine corn cob media (2 lbs.) with 2 ounces/4 tablespoons of Turtle Wax Premium Grade Rubbing Compound for medium to heavy oxidation, mixed in. Turtle Wax has same product but for light oxidation and scratches. Haven't tried this one yet, but I will soon. I mix the compound in the media for an hour or so before adding brass. The polish lasts for many tumblings and need not be replenished until you see a reduction in performance. Tumbling time varies but I usually tumble over night. Brass comes out very clean and shiny. Brass not heavily tarnished or clean as in once fired factory or whatever, you can deprime and omit the Iosso bath, just adding the brass to the media for an hour or two.
