    lognbaby69,
Requests to buy or sell ARE NOT PERMITTED in this forum.
Try searching the auction side of the house.
If what you want is not currently on auction somewhere try placing an ad in the "Wanted" forum.
I'm sure this thread will be blocked or erased shortly

    wanted man
he didn't state "buy" or "trade", so I didn't lock his post, but I did also recognize the same curiosity as you. lognbaby69,... If that is the intention, please put your request in the "wanted" forum instead.

    lognbaby69,

No one has any reason to 'block' you.

You aren't wasting too much 'precious' space at, that's not the point.

The forums are owned and operated (read paid for) by the Gunbroker Auctions so buying, selling or trading on the regular forums would be counter-productive to our survival. That's why we suggest checking the Auctions.

It's also written up in the Posting Guidelines which can be found at the top of any page under the Gunbroker logo.

As an alternative, we have a 'Wanted' forums where folks can posts their needs when they're having trouble finding parts or components.

    Best.

We also try to be trepidatious in responding to a post such as yours. If there is an honest oversight as to the posting guidelines, I prefer to politely point that out, rather then get all "lock-out" or "poof" happy about it.

Notice I let it continue, with a friendly peice of advice[?] I also stated that you had not, at that point, broken the rules as far as I could tell.
