I just loaded some ammo for my garand and see that I used magnum rifle primers. They are winchester primers. My load was 50gr of BLC-2 with 150gr bullets. Are these going to be too hot? Am I going to bend the op rod.

in a bolt gun I would say no,..but from what I understand, the garand has a pretty specific and narrow diet it will safely digest. Stepping outside the line may bend the op-rod or worse. I'd pull em down and deprime, or run them through a bolt gun. MHO

I wouldn't fire them through my garand. I would do what JustC said.
