Anyone have a load for a Rem. 7mm Mag using IMR 4831 or IMR 4350 powder and a 150 gr bullet. Thanks for any info. Terrill.

You're going to have to do your own testing anyway to arrive at a load that your rifle likes.

My 1962 vintage model 700 7mag likes both the H4831 & H1000 loads with the Nosler Partician bullets.
    For what it's worth.

can you tell any difference in the kick between the 2 different powders i've only loaded the hodgdon 4831 with hornaday 154 sst's and from factory remingtons its put a shotgun kick in it instead of that from your shoulder to your toes feeling i've just started this reloading venture but im not liken what i've felt so far and does anyone know anything about different recoil pads that might help thanx ed

Pacmayer makes an XLT MAG recoil pad.

Absolutely make my HEAVY loaded 300MAG feel like a 243. No BS. Worth the 35 bucks from Brownell's and the time it took to fit it.

I never could tell the difference in recoil between the two powders. I had total shoulder replacement and surgeon recommended I use a shooting pad but I instead installed a mercury recoil suppressor from Brownells in the stock and it tamed recoil a bunch.
