judge load ?

I have been shooting a very effective load in my 4 inch judge for over 1 year. I use @32 cal steel ball bearings mixed with #8 shot. 4 ball and about 32 pellets per load. my logic is the steel ball are buffered by the wad and not hurting my barrel. Am I correct? thanks

Shoot a few, go and pick up the wads....any holes in the sides? If yes, sell the gun...if no, keep on keepin on...

Generally wads used with steel shot are considerably thicker than wads for lead shot. Those ball bearings are also probably considerably harder than steel shot.

Hardened steel balls, like bearings, have a bounce factor that won't quit. If you fire these into a blind alley of masonry, do it from around the corner[:D][}:)].
