Mauser 1934 7.65mm Pistol

Working on one of these for a friend, a real "jam-o-matic." Have replaced the magazine, extractor, and recoil spring, with no improvement. Fiocchi FMJ ammo works well, almost solves the problem, but not quite. Sellier FMJ jams almost all the time. I therefore conclude that use of higher powered ammo is part of the solution. Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

A lot can be learned from what "kind" of jam is happening. A failure to feed a fresh round is different than a stove pipe empty case or a double feeding of the new bullets. And so on.....If you think the "hotter" bullets jam less, I would look into the rate of the recoil spring, it may be too stiff. Go slow with each change you make and do one at a time. bob
