Does anybody here shoot in these events? I'm thinking of getting involved with them, it looks like a lot of fun.

Last night I participated in my first IDPA shoot, & I gota say I had wonderful time! The courses were interesting, challenging but doable, and my fellow participants were friendly and supportive. I encourage everyuone to try their hand at this, it's an absolute riot!

Started shooting USPSA 25yrs. ago. Started IDPA when it first started. One of the founders is a friend here in Marietta.
USPSA got to be more of a gamesmans sport where IDPA is geared to CCW carry.
    Wellcome to the sport [;)][:D]

If you want to try another very fun shooting sport, try 3-gun. I shoot twice a month. We use handguns, shotguns and rifles. Iam also a USPSA member and the 3-gun Nationals are a blast.

I've been shooting IDPA for the last 6 years. It is a ton of fun and I would reccomend it to anyone who carries. Great training tool. [8D]
Enemies of armed self-defense focus on the gun. They ignore the person protected with that gun.
