Brass Shotshells

SkeedaddySkeedaddy Member Posts: 95 ✭✭
I recently acquired a few CCI .44 Mag brass shotshell cases. However, I would like to load these with 240 grain bullets & H110 powder. Q: Do these CCI .44 mag. shotshell cases (still in plastic 10-pacs) guage as thick as regular .44 mag cases? Will they stand up to full H110 loads[?] Thanks in advance!

Just a ROMA guess here, but I would think that shotshells are subjected to much less pressure than actual cases, and you stand a chance of KB if you use a nice, soft brass case designed for low pressure for a higher-pressure use.
Still can't figure out the fascination of (mis)using something that doesn't normally function in the way one wants it to. Why not just buy 10 new brass instead of taking a chance on a KB?
