I am having a hard time getting 30.06 reloads to fit. Give me some ideas on what to check.

Thanks

Brent

Are you applying a small amount of lube to the inside of the neck? The expander ball can pull the shoulder forward causing interfearance.
Are you crimping (on purpose or accidently) the case mouth? A bit to much and you can bulge the shoulder.
Have you checked the length of your brass after sizing? You may need to trim the necks.
Was this brass fired in your rifle origionaly? The previous chamber may have been oversize or even egg shaped.
Will the fired brass (before sizing) fit into your chamber?

You can try marking your cases with a sharpie marker, and try chambering them. Than look at the areas where the sharpie marks are rubbed off (where the case is contacting the chamber)

    Tailgunner,

You need to copy this as a pat answer whenever you see this question. All good questions to ask in return. I hope all reloaders go back, check, and get some answers. I know I check off each one of those when I load.

B_MC you didn't tell what gun you are loading for. Besides what Tailgunner said, we need to know this.
If you are loading for a semi-auto, are you using full length sizer dies [?] If you are, you might have go to a small base die [;)]

    Great idea! A "sticky" perhaps?
