Primed Brass

bri8766bri8766 Member Posts: 4 ✭✭
Hello All, I recently stumbled onto 10,000 large pistol primers. My question is, does anybody think there is a market for once fire/new primed brass? I have alot of 45acp brass also.

Thanks

Wht do you guys think about primed brass. I see federal brass in Midsouth SS is cheaper than Win, or Rem unprimed brass. I have never used primed brass before. Pros cons?

list it on the auction side and pay the commission. it will sell.

    bri8766,

Yes, there is a market. As Mobuck said, put it on the auction side.

If I'm reading this correctly, you want to take this used brass, prime it with these "great deal" primers and then sell it.

While I agree there is a market for it that way, I believe you will find you can get more for the primers and brass if you "don't" prime it and just sell each on GB (remember primers need special shipping).

Either way, you will have great interest, including myself.

    Best of luck.

The Problem is that I can't ship the primers because I don't have a contract with UPS or FED EX. I had no idea you can't walk into USP, pay the fees and ship.

Unless you value your time and equipment cheaply, the primed brass, while easy to ship, [no hazmat problem], will sell slower and with less interested buyers than a cheap price on the primers alone.JMHO bob

I don't know what I was thinking (wasn't) when I first posted. I agree the brass and primers will sell better separately.
