Beam Scales

Well, I decided to go back to a beam scale. Anyone use the Dillion Eliminator beam scale? I've found them cheaper than the RCBS scales, and no suprise, look exactly the same as the 505 except the color. Are there any mechanical differences between the dillion and the rcbs 505? I haven't found lots of reviews of the dillion but those I did find were happy with it. Please chime in with any thoughts.

I'm not certain if they still make it, but an Ohaus Dial-o-Grain is easier to use than any triple beam; just set the dial and dribble.
Locate your scale on a solid base, like a piece of marble tile, away from drafts, vibrations and temperature extremes; mounting it at eye level is helpful. Keep it covered when not in use to avoid dust from getting into the all important balance bearings.
If you do those things it will last a lifetime.
