Anyone have a favorite load for the Remington 7mm mag using IMR 4831 powder, 150 gr. Remington core-lokt bullets, CCI 250 primers and to be used in a Remington model 700 rifle ? Thanks for any info. Terrill.

I have found that 66 grs of imr4831 with the i50 remcorloct bullet is very accurate in mine and all in and outlaws 7mm rem mags. everyone's gun i've checked it in will shoot an inch or less at 100 yds. my books show 66.5 gr as max tho so work up on it for safety sake.

some 7mm mag's don't really like IMR4831 powder! To test just start at the minimum recommended load and test fire 3 shot groups starting from a cold barrel and testing the powder in 1 to 2 grain increments and when it shows good promise on paper go up and down 1/2 for fine tuning the group!
    Normally a 7mm Rem Mag like 175 bullets and H4831 andf/or IMR 4350!
H-4831 normally preferred! (no one load will perform good in two exact model and caliber guns due to barrel vibration difference, etc, so have fun testing!
