do they still make 00 buck in 5lb bags?

When I got my first 12 ga. at 11 years old I couldn't afford ammo, so cast my own 00 bucks and got 9 per ounce which I found in unfired shells with 1 ounce loads. Multiply this by 16 and you get 144 per pound. 144 x 5 gets you 720 in 5 pounds.

This is only approximate as the recipe of lead and slightly different size may vary a little.

thanks. now i can figure out how many 410 hulls i can load with 5 lbs. made my day. in my case, it will be 180 @ 4 per hull. thanks again.[:)]

I see it in 5 lb. boxes all the time. I think it is by Hornady and not real expensive.
