It's pretty easy to see the carbide ring on the die in this Lee set.

But, what about on a RCBS die?

Like this one?

Can the carbide ring be present but not easily seen?

the 41mag die set is steel...will require lube. RCBS group "B"...not designated Carbide(carb) on the box are steel.

David, PN 18508 is for a standard set of 41 mag dies. Every carbide die I have, you can see the ring or a transition between the dissimilar metals. I have the exact same set by PN for 41 mag you have in this pic and it is not a carbide set. Hope this helps. rmr
