on competition and target shooting for 22 caliber

pistols. where would you go on-line for background to go beyond just your typical target shooting at the range? I understand practice is key, but for adanced beginners addressing elevation, wind etc where does one go to combine some education with the training? please.

    What target game do you want to play? Bullseye, Olympic, ...

    Equipment, rules, some of the technique, etc. all are different for the specific target sport that you want to jump in to. Air pistol is a good spot to work on sight alignment, trigger control and follow through.

    Small arms firing school at Camp Perry each year also Marine Marksmanship manual and the CMP has CD's as well as VCR tapes. Contact me off list via my profile I might be able to offer you some manuals. I attended Camp Perry 1972-2005. this is the site of the yearly National championships. Cheers Karl.
