I have three pounds of this stuff, are there any handgun calibers that can be reloaded using this powder?

Yup. All three of the common magnums, 45 Colt plus the dinosaur slayer cartridges will thrive on it - but it's a full-throttle powder. It's not for reduced loads, even if it seems to be somewhat less temperamental than H110/W296.

You'll find load data at the Hodgdon website. http://www.hodgdon.com/
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

Looks like you can only use it for high end loads...I did not see anything for reduced or lighter loads.

I liked what I saw when I read Hodgdons loading data, I ordered 2 lbs. I just received it last week and am looking forward to experimenting with it. I had to wait 4 months to get it. I have been using 2400 and 296 for most of my magnums.

OK OK, lighten up...[;)] I was hoping to find some reduced loads for 45 Colt...I ended up taking it back to the shop and they were nice enough to let me exchange it for Titegroup powder.

The 44 mag gets good published MV with it. I have to test it some more for consistent accuracy results but a 10 round preliminary test on paper shows promise.

Chris, you aren't the only one who doesn't read previous posts, I see. [:I]

Titegroup is a MUCH better choice for those reduced loads. You'll like it.

I just bought 8 pounds of Titegroup today from Cabelas, I had a $20 coupon which paid my hazmat fees.

Holy Hannah. At something like five grains a load, that's over 11,000 shots. I think you're set for a spell!

I use it in 45acp, 40 S&W, 45 Colt and 38/357, I like to keep a good supply on hand! I have started using Trail Boss in my 45 Colt and am very happy with it. 6 grains under a 200 grain LRN makes a nice, comfortable load.
