480 ruger

I'm gonna start reloading for my Ruger Super Redhawk 480. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried the Speer Gold Dot 275 grain bullets and what kinda results were achived?

    any one fammilar with this round? have just gotten one in a superredhawk have tracked down brass and dies and 400gr xtp's. anyone have a pet load for this? would perfer to use h 110 since i have plently. thanks in advance kevin

    Well there isn't much in a pet poad with h110. It's 19.5 to 21.5 with 1100fps to 1188fps and mag primer. Not to much to play with here. Not that I own on in a 480 but do in 44. I would load this at 21.0. Since this is a balls to the wall gun. Load it like one.

    25.1 grains of IMR 4227 pushing a 355gn WNFP with a gas check. Its accruate and stout. I would not want to be on the receiving end of it.
