auctions for bullets

Duck HeadDuck Head Member Posts: 82 ✭✭
Since E-Bay turned on us I haven't been able to find an auction site that matches it for variety and quantity of regular guys auctioning off their bullets, even here on GB! Lots of Dealers sell on here and AA but I'm looking for Mike the mechanic selling his uncles bullets for him as he no longer reloads etc. Know what I mean? Google is no help for me. Maybe I'm putting in the wrong search terms. I'd start my own site if I knew how and had the $$$ but I'm short on both. That's why I need to find an auction site to buy 30 xyz bullets or 62 abc bullets for a good price.Know what I mean Vern?

I know what you mean. The sad thing is, that type of guy, if he doesn't have immediate access to an auction he knows about, probably just tosses the bullets or leaves them in the basement.

Not to mention ....having a stock pile of components is like money in the bank right now.

I have bullets for several calibers that I don't load for at the moment but, I may need them again so I won't sell them.

One of my pet peeves is the GB seller who lists every bullet in the catalog whether he has them or not. I saw one seller's fine print that stated buyers should call to check if a certain item was available before bidding. That type of seller should get the boot.

10-4 on the money in the bank. I been saying for years that ammo will be our next currency.Try buying something with a gold bar or coin. Uh, you got a scale so I can whittle off $50.00 worth of gold from this bar? What do you mean I get apples for change. I want BEEF! Or...Hello? Goldline?......Goldline? Where are you? Next.... the sound of a dead phone line, sssssssssssssssss.
