Anybody have one? Picked up a contender barrel in this chamber and know nothing about it other than what I've read online the last couple days.

    It's a .225 Winchester necked up to .257 cal. And, I think the case is improved to 40 deg. shoulders. I'm not certain though.

    As far as light fast shooting bullets this is one of the upper crust in that category. Getting 100 gr. bullets out of a 14" pistol to 2550-2600 fps.

    That is a sweeeeet caliber in a Contender, I've rolled a lot of deer with one using 85 grain Ballistic Tips in it.. Flat out awesome shooter for what it is..... AA-2520 is the powder to use.
    35.0 grains of it will push the 85's to over 2800 FPS with CCI-200's..........

    It will make the trip to Wyoming for Antelope this coming fall... it has a 3x12 Burris on it...
