Loads for 45 70

Any one use mild loads for a 450 gr cast bullet in the 45 70? JC

My universal load for cast bullets is 13 grains of unique. I shoot 350, 410 & 465 grain cast bullets. I size .459 & lube with RCBS green. This load shoots equally well in my Contender carbine, TCR, Siamese Mauser or my 1888 trapdoor. Ed

You might try 15gr of 4759. (IMR - DuPont)
