I came into possession of a Pacific DL 150 reloader, but it came with no manual, so I have no Idea what order the shot shell must go thru in order to be reloaded, can someone with the same model or the knowledge help me.

All I want to reload right now is 40cal and 30-06. How much money can a person save by reloading? How many times can the brass cases be used?
I'm sure I will think of more questions later.
i want to reload rifle and pistol do i have to get differnt presses or just die?
and i alos want to load muliple shotgun gauges do i have to get differnt presses or can i get conversions
and what are the best ones for beginners
thanks in advance for your time and expertice
Ike
I and others have some good links up at:

Especially the part about:
You can learn a lot on the Shiloh board even if you shoot another brand or action type. There is also a generic BPCR board with articles and schedules; and a text of the basics in BPCR loading.

Buffalo Arms is a good source of supplies and equipment, all but the powder.

Powder Inc. Is the only place I know that mailorders less than case lots of black powder. Yes, you can have BP delivered to your doorstep.

In case lots, the Maine Powderhouse is a good source, where I got my present lot, but there are some others.

Pyrodex is good for plinking because its fouling does not accumulate much and wiping or blowing is not needed. But if neglected, it is actually MORE corrosive than real black. It is seldom as accurate for real precision shooting and is not much used by competitors.
Either way, the best approach is to clean the gun on the range, that leaves no room for doubt or neglect. It is a little messy but need not take long. I think it is quicker to get the soot out of my .38-55 than to clean the copper out of my .308.
The Cowboy shooters like American Pioneer artificial substitute, but I have not used any or know anybody who does. Largely because NRA target and silhouette shooting does not allow anything but real black or Pyrodex. And black rules.
Hunters like 777 because it is 15% hotter than other muzzleloader powders, does not need BP bullet lube, cleans with water or about anything. But I don't think I'd want to soup up a Ballard load by 15%. Hodgdon is supposed to have a standard power formula in the works.
.40-63 brass is an oddball. It is expensive and dies are high. But there is nothing realistic you could rechamber to even if you were willing to knock a thousand dollars off the value of that Pacific by such butchery.
