Bonanza Dies?

Are the Bonanza steel dies any good? And is 15 for a set of 45acp dies a good price?

I have a set of 45 dies. They are good dies. However in this day and age with the invent of carbide dies and using them with straight walled pistol cases is a better way to go. I think I have about 1/2 dozen Bonanza dies and a set of benchrest dies. The benchrest dies are easily the best dies I own.

That is a good price IF they are a carbide die set.
If they are a steel set pass on them and look for a carbide set so you don't have to lube pistol brass [xx(]

I'm new here (but an old timer). Carbide sizer is the way to go. The sizer is the only carbide die in the set. The bell die, seater and crimp dies are "normal". So an option would be to grab the $15 set, then add a carbide sizer (about $20 for a Lee).
