    Looks like the wire that hold the can that catches the grease under my grill.

    What scale is it from. I have a very old balance scale that I haven't used in years. Let me check to see how many parts survived my many moves and wife's go to the dump parties.

    You may know this!
    If you make one or get the replacement you will probably have to re-calibrate your scale so as it will zero! You can do this by removing the little holder on the bottom of your powder pan (usually) and adding or subtracting weight!

    I been there. What a pain. You need the alumimum or whatever it is or will be too heavy. Of course, none for sale, locally. I ended up using an extra antenna from a dish cable box to transmit to other room. Mine was different, from a Redding, but you get the idea.

    It is for a Bonanza scale, it doesn't have a model # on it. Been told a RCBS model 502 or 504 will work. I'm waiting on RCBS to answer there phone to see if I can get one from them.

    I would think some welding rod for tig welding would work just fine. But like they say, you will need to recal.
